season 1 ⎜
By candlelight, the world dresses in mystery. The distance disappears. The chiaroscuro
reveals what he desires; everyone guesses the rest in their own way, even if it means dreaming it... We dream better in twilight. // A dream concert then ? A moment out of time, a favorable atmosphere
to contemplation, reflection and sharing ; the fragility of the candle as a counterpoint to
the fleetingness of the musical moment. // Les apartés is a new season of concerts in Nantes :
a proposal by Stradivaria to present the musical heritage of the century in an original way
des Lumières, which the orchestra has been exploring for 35 years, following the precepts and techniques
of the time. // In the light of a candle, sight no longer has primacy. In warm intimacy
of La Chapelle de l'Immaculée, it is hearing that will guide us, without artifice, to listen
old instruments: music whispered in the ear.
